Strategic Planning
I help organizations develop and implement effective strategies to achieve their long-term objectives. I will guide an analysis of a company's internal and external environments, including market trends, competitive landscape, and operational capabilities with a team of internal experts. Together we will identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Next, I will facilitate workshops and discussions to collaborate with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on vision and goals. This is a key element of my practice as it begins the change management process.
Once a clear strategy is formulated, I then support the creation of action plans that outline specific initiatives, timelines, and performance metrics. This implementation phase is crucial, as it translates strategy into tangible results. Ongoing support may include change management, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to ensure that the organization remains on track to achieve its strategic objectives.
Organization Design
Through education and support, I help align the organization's structure with its objectives and strategies to create transformational change. It involves defining roles, responsibilities, and relationships within the organization to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness.
Together we evaluate key components of organization design include:
Organizational Structure: The hierarchical arrangement of individuals and teams within an organization.
Roles and Responsibilities: The specific tasks, accountabilities, and connection to the broader organizational goals.
Workflow and Processes: The communication, collaboration, decision making processes, and high-level workflows.
Culture and Values: The values and behaviors encouraged within the organization.
Performance Measurement: The governance of processes and the structure of rewards.
Corporate Development
I support organizations on growth opportunities through the identification, evaluation, and execution of activities such as mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and spin-offs. My approach focuses on the whole system and stakeholder engagement, leading to longer term success.
With knowledge of the end to end process, I bring together the necessary financial, legal, facility, human resources, operations, risk management, and other corporate support to facilitate appropriate decision making and transactional steps at the right time.
With deep knowledge of strategy and change management, I am able to challenge and support decisions and the the overall implementation of the corporate development strategy.
